Mitochondrial Biologist

March Therapeutics
Spun out of Harvard and MIT, March Therapeutics (MarchTx) is a stealth, venture-backed startup developing a novel class of DNA writers for a few dozen monogenic mitochondrial diseases that are all incurable today. Leveraging its proprietary suite of gene therapy tools, MarchTx is currently pursuing multiple preclinical programs in active collaborations with leading hospitals and universities worldwide.

We are looking to work with a highly motivated and independent scientist with extensive experience in mitochondrial and cell physiology to advance our preclinical programs into the clinic. You will be responsible for onboarding and performing essential assays to assess mitochondrial physiology in cells, including patient-derived cells with various disease contexts. We are a fast-growing startup aiming to be the first to introduce mitochondrial gene therapy to the patients; an ideal candidate should be comfortable working in a fast-paced yet highly-collaborative environment with a strong mission-alignment.
