About Boston QSP, Inc.: To foster sharing of knowledge, experience, and opportunities Boston QSP, Inc., a non-profit organization, is building a community in Boston for researchers and professionals involved and/or interested in quantitative and systems approach to drug discovery and development.

 

Invitation: We would like to invite you to our upcoming event on Monday, May 8th, 2017. The event will feature talks on innovation in oncology modeling by QSP (Quantitative & Systems Pharmacology) leaders from industry. More information can be found here (http://bit.ly/2pEEc1r )

 

What is in it for you? Pharma and biotech companies are embracing applications of mathematics and engineering in a big way to improve the outcome and efficiency of drug development process. In our events, >90 % attendees are researchers in pharma/biotech industry ranging from CEOs, presidents, vice-presidents, directors, and senior level scientist to postdocs. Each attendee is a potential source of full-time job or an internship. For grad student population this is a great opportunity to network and learn.

5:00-5:40PM – “It’s not rocket science! Or is it? Recent advances in translational oncology modeling,” Dean Bottino, PhD, Clinical Translation Modeling & Simulation Leader, Takeda Oncology (Havana room).

 

5:40PM – 6:20PM – “Evolving models to systems level: case studies from preclinical oncology,”Frank Gibbons, PhD, Principal Scientist, AstraZeneca (Havana room).

6:20 pm-8:00 pm – Reception/Networking @ Venture Cafe (a few steps down the hallway from Havana Room).
