Contract Research Organizations: their role in the discovery and preclinical phases of drug discovery.

The rise of “virtual” startups highlights the importance of Contract Research Organizations in biotech. In this panel discussion, we will explore the importance of CROs, with an emphasis on the discovery and preclinical stages of the drug development continuum. We will be joined by representatives from both sides (CRO and biotech company) and get their insights about expectations and deliverables that determine a successful outcome. We will also discuss the services provided by CROs to early-stage startups with an aim to educate entrepreneurs about engaging CROs in the commercialization process.
