Iberian Nanotech Boston Challenge

The INL Boston Challenge is running and accepting applications from all innovators.
The program is open to any student (undergraduate to post docs) or early stage companies from the New England area (obviously students can be from all over the place but they need to be studying/working in New England).  Note the challenge covers both technology and artistic ideas as long as they have a Nano concept that addresses a need of 21st century society!
The prize is an up to 3 month summer trip to INL (Iberian Nanotechnology Laboratory) in Braga Portugal to flesh out / prototype the “idea”.  Travel and accommodation will be paid by INL and a stipend of $2000 will be given (should cover food and drink costs, as Braga is an inexpensive place to live).  In addition, the person/group will be working with world-class machines and scientists at INL.
If you have a Nano-idea that needs to be tested, characterized or prototyped this is a great way to get it done quickly and with high quality over the summer break.  Of course the idea needs to take a step towards solving an issue in our modern society but that is a very broad remit. The submission period is open until May 1st 2017.
