ADL Business Analyst/Consultant

Our Healthcare, Life Sciences, and Food /Nutrition Practice is undergoing significant growth. We are seeking Business Analysts and Consultants who are highly interested in and have strong academic backgrounds in Biochemistry, Biology, Chemistry, Engineering, Economics / Business. The primary responsibilities of the analyst / consultant are to gather and analyze market-based data, synthesize analyses and develop actionable strategic insights in collaboration with both junior and senior members of the case team.

You will:

  • Be able to handle challenging, complex problems and apply methodologies and analytical frameworks that address client issues while developing recommendations that are actionable
  • Conduct quantitative and qualitative analyses, collecting and analyzing data from both secondary and primary sources and can comfortably and articulately speak to opinion leaders worldwide
  • Develop and implement consulting methodologies in multiple client settings both domestically and internationally
  • Possess strong scientific background knowledge and is able to effectively integrate new and existing data, knowledge and learnings into client presentations and deliverables (PowerPoint)
  • Prepare effective presentations, well-supported by empirical data and evidence
  • Ability to synthesize and communicate findings and recommendations to case team members as well as clients
  • Successfully plan, complete, and producs own sections of final deliverables

  • Possesses high energy level, sense of urgency, creativity, decisiveness, ability to work well under pressure
  • Works effectively in both independent and group settings
  • Has strong interpersonal and oral/written communication skills
  • Undergraduate or Masters degree in engineering, mathematics, economics, biology, chemistry, physiology, other natural sciences, and/ or business
  • For Consultant Candidates: PhD in Biochemistry, Chemistry, Biology, Engineering, or Materials Science or MBA
